*if you place a symbol on wires that are already drawn, ACADE will trim the wire from the inside of your symbol. Be sure that the TAG attribute is TAG2, which is for child symbols. Remember that your wire connection attributes MUST be exactly across from one another, from left to right, otherwise it won't work correctly when placing on an existing bus*. I would create it as one symbol (don't use the wd-3unit command) with the required spacing. The first one you place, whether it's the top or bottom one, becomes the parent for the other two.įor that reason, you may be best off by building your own symbol to use. This is how 3-phase symbols are normally reckoned in ACADE. For instance, there are actually 3 separate symbols to make one 3-phase circuit breaker symbol. AFAIK, the wd-3unit command is for setting a parent and two children.
